Key Responsibilities
As a Support Engineer I, your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer support cases through phone, email, and web portals
- Investigating technical issues using log analysis, database queries, and code reviews
- Monitoring production environments and managing incident response
- Collaborating with L2, L3, and product teams for escalations
- Participating in daily sync calls and stakeholder discussions
- Contributing to technical documentation and the internal knowledge base
- Performing infrastructure checks and routine tasks as per SOPs
- Managing SLAs and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Automating repetitive support tasks for better efficiency
- Providing timely updates and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports
- Logging release timelines and tracking customer environment performance
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or production support environment
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience in working with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP
- Hands-on familiarity with Kafka, Cassandra, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
