Internship Responsibilities
As a Wabtec Engineering Intern, you will:
- Work on real-time digital solutions in rail or port domains
- Support development and deployment activities across the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Develop, debug, and test components in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain clean code
- Participate in technical discussions, contribute to proof-of-concepts, and deliver working modules
- Regularly report progress and collaborate closely with mentors and project leads
Key Skills Required
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python
- Understanding of front-end technologies like AngularJS or JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and RDBMS
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and team spirit
- Basic understanding of embedded software or industrial communication products is preferred
- Familiarity with version control, software testing, and agile practices will be beneficial
